At CUNY 2X, our goal is to help City Tech build a strong support system that equips students with the skills to confidently pursue their careers. We aim to double the number of Computer Systems Technology graduates and ensure more are employed within six months of graduation. By partnering with the Tech Talent Pipeline, we’ll connect NYC businesses with students to support their job search. Through events like hackathons, conferences, professional development sessions, and career fairs, we prepare students to succeed and present themselves as professionals in the industry.
So what's this all about?
With the current job market many new grads and current students are having great difficulty finding jobs and internships within the field of study. CUNY 2X and the Tech Talent Pipline want to bridge that gap and bring the skills to the students to and then pipline them into the job industry.
The Tech Talent Pipline
The Tech Talent Pipeline Residency (TTPR) is a select program with stipends and perks for CST students. Participants get tech training, build projects for their GitHub portfolios, nail technical and behavioral interviews, and are guided and coached for successful careers in tech.
